...in childbirth classes.

I have so enjoyed using your music in my childbirth class. It really calms and allows the mother to deepen her relaxation.

Babies will stop crying

PACIFE CD is now featured in the gift shop of the new,
very beautiful Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

PACIFE is played in large NICUs

Used to signal the end of hands-on care in Children's Hospital Los Angeles NICU for many years, PACIFE is now playing in a Johns Hopkins NICU and in Nationwide. Marketing has only begun and is spreading by word of mouth. Please ask your NICU to play PACIFE and the Hospital Gift Shop to stock it.

"Thank you for PACIFE"

The pulsating sound in the background is not part of PACIFE, it's the air-water sounds of CPAP and very loud in the baby's ears.

PACIFE is different

Different from all other relaxing music.
This carefully constructed pretty music was developed after ten years of research with babies on NICU monitors.using 60 rules about sounds and combinations of sounds as they affect stress, lower heart rate and blood pressure

The first cassettes were made and people began playing PACIFE in other circumstances finding that it relaxes tension, muscle spasms and cramps, eases fear of flying, puts insomniacs to sleep… testimonials poured in and began to show the wide range of benefits.

Now PACIFE Music to Calm is available as mp3, CD and cassette. The music is pretty and, played softly, will calm the baby, the mother and rowdy children at that moment of dinner preparation. It quiets the puppy, home-alone dogs, frightened dogs and horses in transit.

Do not play in moving auto.

Your children will go to bed nicely and stay in bed

Tips for making bedtime fun are found in Stay Healthy.

The setting

Learning the baby's responses to sounds by the information on their monitors, the music of PACIFE was then developed using Leonard Bernstein's idea of children's 'Primal Tunes', and adding a series of rules for composing,

In NICU

This newborn was post-op from abdominal surgery and unhappy. With the music of PACIFE his crying stopped, he smiled, looked around and slept.

Because it had happened so many times before, the camera was ready.

Why is PACIFE music different?

In his Harvard Lectures, Bernstein told of 'Primal Tunes', those sequences of notes that children around the world, when left to their own devices will chant in their games. PACIFE music was constructed using these tunes, some mathematical characteristics of Bach, (allowing the baby to mentally trace musical patterns) and basic peaceful qualities of music as indicated by the monitors giving it profoundly soothing effects.
